Privacy Policy

At Trobbit Inc. (“Trobbit” and “we”), we take the privacy of our customers (“customers”, “customer”, and “you”) and the users or customers or prospective customers (“users”) of our customers very seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to both our website trobbit.com and our platform app.trobbit.com (“services” and “service”). This Privacy Policy governs our practices of collecting, processing, using, and sharing data (“personal information”). It also describes your options and rights regarding the use, access, and correction of your personal information.

If you do not agree with the data usage practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use our services.

We are not responsible if customers choose not to provide this information to users. While we will notify you of any material changes to this privacy policy, we recommend that you review it periodically. 1. Information we collect

1.1. Personal information

The services use the information collected to operate, maintain, and provide the functionality of the services themselves, analyzing how such services are used, conducting diagnostic activities or technical problem checks, maintaining security, personal content, reminding personal information for account access, monitoring metrics such as total visitors, traffic, demographic patterns, and tracking content and users according to applicable law. In this regard, we collect personal information for the purpose of identifying users. Such personal information may include email address, name, surname, address, and telephone number, and any other personal information that the user has provided to Trobbit through the use of Trobbit’s services.

If you do not wish to receive such messages, you can choose not to receive them by following the instructions provided in such message. If you contact us via email, we may save the content of your email, your email address, and your responses.

1.2. Log data

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website or use our services (“Log Data”). This log data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time you spent on those pages, and other statistics. Additionally, we use third-party services like Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this type of information to enhance the functionality of our services. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. When you access the services via a mobile device, we automatically collect certain information, including the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique ID, your mobile device’s IP address, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, and general information about your location.

1.3. Your content and communication

Trobbit collects and stores all comments, communications, and conversations that the user performs through the services.

1.4. Cookies

Trobbit may use cookies to track your access to the services. This technology operates either by placing a small file that stores certain information on your computer or mobile phone, and/or accessing certain information from your device. Trobbit uses cookies and similar technology to recognize your device and to collect and store access data so that you do not have to log in each time you access the services, to allow Trobbit to provide the user with more personalized services, and to collect any other information related to the use of the services. If you do not want a cookie to be installed on your hard drive, you can set your computer’s browser to not receive them. “Cookies” are associated solely with an anonymous user and their computer and do not provide the user’s personal data by themselves, nor can they read data from their hard drive or read cookies created by other providers.

1.5. Knowledge

Through the knowledge you publish by using the services, you also provide us with your information. Your knowledge and data about your knowledge may be viewed by other users according to your service settings. Trobbit may, but is not obligated to monitor the knowledge you post on the services. We may remove any information you post for any reason or without reason. Unless knowledge can be seen according to your settings in the services, Trobbit employees and Trobbit will not see your knowledge, except: (i) to maintain, provide, or improve the services; (ii) to help you resolve your support requests; or (iii) as Trobbit deems appropriate, in its sole discretion, which is necessary to comply with or prevent violation of applicable law or regulation or to cooperate with law enforcement.

1.6. Geolocation information

When you use the services by or through a mobile device, we may remotely access, collect, monitor, and/or store “location data”, which may include GPS coordinates (e.g., latitude and/or longitude) or similar information about your mobile device’s location. Location data may transmit information about how you use the services. Location data does not collect or share any personally identifiable information about you. Location data may be used in conjunction with personally identifiable information. Some features of the services, especially location-based services, may not work properly if the use or availability of location data is affected or disabled.

1.7. Device identifiers

When you access the services by or through a mobile device, we may remotely access, collect, monitor, and/or store one or more “device identifiers.” Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device and are used to enhance the services. A device identifier may be information stored in connection with the device’s hardware, data stored in connection with the device’s operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by us. A device identifier may transmit information about how you use the services. A device identifier does not collect or share any personally identifiable information about you. A device identifier may be used in conjunction with personally identifiable information. A device identifier may persistently remain on your device to help you log in faster and improve your navigation through the services. Some features of the services may not work properly if the use or availability of device identifiers is affected or disabled. Trobbit may access, collect, and/or store device identifiers by enabling Trobbit services.

1.8. Information collected from other sources

We will enrich your personal information with additional personal information received from publicly available sources. We may also receive your information from services that integrate with Trobbit, other Trobbit users, or our partners.

2. Use of Acquired Information

2.1. Clarification of Use

We use the information we collect only in accordance with this privacy policy. Customers subscribing to our services are required through our agreements with them to comply with this privacy policy.

You can enhance the services by enabling Trobbit integrations with third-party products. If you provide us with third-party account credentials, you understand that some of the content and/or information from those accounts (“Third-Party Account Information”) will be transmitted to your account with us, and that the Third-Party Account Information transmitted to our services is covered by this privacy policy. Additionally, Trobbit software may request permissions to perform actions on your behalf using your third-party account credentials. For example, if you choose to integrate Trobbit services with your Google Calendar or with HubSpot CRM, Trobbit software will request authorization to read information, automatically schedule appointments, or save contact data on your behalf.

2.4. Google User Data

Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, if you provide Trobbit Application access to the following types of Google data, the use of that data by the Application will be subject to these additional restrictions:

The Application will only use access to view the user’s personal information, including personal data that you have made public and associate it with your Trobbit account, query your email address, view and list Google Calendar calendars of which you are the owner, view the title, description, and time zone of said calendars, and view and create events in those calendars.

The Application will not use this Gmail data for ad targeting.

The Application will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative consent for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security reasons, such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the internal operations of the Application and even then only when the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

2.5. Partners

We work with partners who may market, sell, or support our services. These partners may provide us with your personal information so that we can communicate with you. We may also receive your personal information from advertising, market research, or data enrichment partners with whom we engage to identify potential customers.

2.6. Other Service Users

Other users of our services may provide information about you when they use the services. For example, we receive your email address from other users of the service when they provide it to invite you to the services.

2.7. Service Providers Who May Receive Your Personal Information

We may employ third-party companies and individuals (our “agents”) to facilitate our services, provide the services on our behalf, perform complementary services, and/or help us analyze how our services are used. Examples may include storing data, delivering messages, processing credit card payments, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, managing our agreements with you, supplementing the information you provide to us to provide you with better service, and providing customer service. We do not transfer data to third parties other than agents. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are contractually obligated not to disclose or use your personal information for any other purpose than described in this privacy policy.

Despite such legal and contractual obligations between us and such service providers, we remain potentially liable for any misuse of your personal information. We will only disclose personal information when required to do so in response to a legal request from public authorities, including to comply with national security or law enforcement requirements.

3. Information Retention

3.1. Retention of Your Personal Information

Trobbit has no interest in retaining personal information or personally identifiable information about Users and Clients for any purpose other than the effectiveness of its service, statistical segmentation purposes, and advertising. Trobbit may retain personal information to comply with Trobbit’s legal obligations and for Trobbit’s business purposes (e.g., to provide you with our services, to enable your participation in an event, and to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements). Trobbit may retain personal information for longer periods than required by law if it is in Trobbit’s legitimate business interests and not prohibited by law. In the event Trobbit needs to close a Client’s account, Trobbit may take steps to mask personal information and other information, but we reserve Trobbit’s ability to retain and access data for as long as necessary to comply with applicable laws. We will continue to use and disclose such personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

3.2. Managed Accounts

If services are available to you through an organization (e.g., your employer), we retain your information for as long as required by your employer, under our agreement with your employer, and as required by your account administrator. If your account is deactivated, your information and conversations you may have had and actions you have taken in the services will remain to enable your team members to make full use of the services.

3.3. Marketing Information

If you have chosen to receive our marketing emails, we retain information about your marketing preferences for a reasonable period of time from the last date you expressed interest in our services. Each marketing email we send will provide you with the option to opt-out of future emails.

4. Security of Personal Information

4.1. Security Measures

Trobbit takes all reasonable and positive measures to ensure that personal information is protected against any inappropriate use, loss, unauthorized access, modification, and/or disclosure. Trobbit adopts and applies appropriate practices for the collection, storage, and management of data, and security procedures against unauthorized access, alteration, aggregation, deletion, disclosure, and/or destruction of user information, username, email address, password, transaction information, and any other information stored in Trobbit. However, no information stored or transmitted over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed as one hundred percent secure. Therefore, Trobbit does not warrant that information cannot be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed upon the breach of any of the aforementioned security measures.

4.2. International Transfer of Personal Information

Your personal information may be transferred and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide us with personal information, please note that we transfer the personal information to the United States and process it there in accordance with our state and federal laws.

5. Access to Personal Information

5.1. Information Query

The user has the right to access the personal information that Trobbit collects regarding them and to request rectification, updating, deletion, and confidentiality of the information contained in the company’s databases.

Finally, the user may request free withdrawal or blocking of their name and email from advertising files or databases.

If at any time the user wishes to exercise any of the aforementioned powers, or wishes to obtain more information about our approach to privacy policies, please do not hesitate to contact us through the information channel provided in clause 9. of this document.

5.2. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

We acknowledge individuals’ rights to access their personal information. You can access, update, correct, or have deleted from our systems and records the personal information you provided to us by sending a request via email to privacy@trobbit.com or by contacting us by phone or postal mail as specified in the How to Contact Us clause of this Privacy Policy. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before updating or deleting your information.

5.3. Request for Deletion Rights

You have the right to request that Trobbit delete any personal information we collect from you and/or retain. Unless subject to a certain limited exception, once Trobbit receives and confirms your verifiable deletion request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records. Trobbit will promptly notify you if it determines that it must deny your deletion request and will provide you with the reasons why retention of your information is necessary for Trobbit.

6. Third-Party Links

Our services may contain links to other websites or online locations that are not operated or controlled by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of each site or location you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

7. Children’s Privacy

Only individuals aged 18 years and older are permitted to access our services. Our services are not intended for use by children under 13 years of age (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personal identification information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your children have provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 years of age without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

8. General Terms

Except as otherwise provided herein, Trobbit may retain or disclose user information even after the user has discontinued or deleted their account or after the provision of the services has ended for as long as it is reasonably necessary to comply with these Privacy Policies or with any law, regulation, or legal requirement; to protect or safeguard any person; to address or combat fraud and/or technical or security issues; or to protect Trobbit’s property rights.

If any court or other competent authority resolves about the invalidity or unenforceability of any provision contained in this Privacy Policy, the remaining provisions will not be affected and will retain full force and validity.

9. Modifications to the Privacy Policy

Trobbit reserves the right to revise or modify these Privacy Policies at any time by making them public on the modified Privacy Policy website. The modified Privacy Policies will take effect 10 (ten) days after they are published on our website. Trobbit may also, but will not be obligated to, notify the user of any modification to the Privacy Policies by email to the email address associated with the user’s account.

It is expressly established that the use of any of the services, after changes have been made to the Privacy Policy, implies acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with such modifications, you should refrain from using the services and may proceed to close your user account as provided in our Terms and Conditions, https://trobbit.com/terms-and-conditions/.

Unless otherwise indicated, our current privacy policy will apply to all information we handle related to the user.
